The first time in human history where we've encountered systems other than human beings themselves that are able to speak fluently. It gives you this very strong delusion that you're talking to a system that is able to represent itself. The capacity to use the self-concept in this way, I think is more on the mimicry side of thing. If you probe further, you can actually see that there is no consistent set of anything like sets of beliefs about the self in the systems.
