I'm Glad I Wasn't a Boy, Actually, I Really Did.
For me, there was a lot of downward pressure, but there was a kind of covert upward pressure. I knew i was loved and valued and had a place in my family. There was also room for me to think without feeling like it was going to threaten my belonging. And so they have a lot of anger about it, and because they've felt so constrained by the demand to be specific thing. How do you deal with that? Like, if you maybe are seeing it, you're seeing the the differences, how do you face it?
