Polysynthetic Languages

I've never worked with a polysynthetic language myself. I was lucky enough to find a cheap copy of a West Greenlandic grammar at a used bookstore years and years and years ago. It just gives lots of really great examples of how little words build up to beher words in this language. The other thing we have which maybe we can spend some time looking at just because it's awesome is the Inupiatan Eskimo dictionary. And starting on page 241 they have a separate set of section of the dictionary devoted to these derivational elements called post bases.
