The Relationship Between Pride and Our Heavenly Father

Lewis also says that pride can be easily smuggled into religion. What does he mean by that? Talk about the relationship between pride and our relationship with our heavenly father. Why? In that particular chapter, he has unpacked what pride is. And so not only does pride separate us from each other, because itis competitive, it separates us from god,. But then there's a very obvious question that a non believer would then ask. Or how is it that people who claim to be religious, who believe in god and ast even pling themselves as very good people are eaten up with pride?
