The Congressional Budget Office's Analysis of the $15 an Hour Minimum Wage
The Congressional Budget Office examined what it would mean to move to a $15 an hour minimum wage nationwide. The conclusion that CBO came up with was that 17 million people would see a salary increase as a result of this. But, and there's always a but, the downside is that 1.3 million would lose their jobs entirely. It doesn't sound like much of a punishment when you think about it.
