Is Iterative Agile Better Than Waterfall?

We want these to be short, iterative cycles here. What we found is that a lot of companies are spending nine, 12, 18 months to get a model out. That's not how you should be building your AI and data projects. So think big, have the end goal in mind, but then start small because when you take on more than you can actually handle, you start to run into issues too.
