Understanding Comics, Okay?

Edward O'Bonow: Comics convey things we understand from comic strips that we don't even realize we're understanding. He says there's something very, very similar in terms of the magician is saying, I can't actually do this in reality, but I can make people see it. And so that's all three are very, very closely related. In other words, it's a function around perception. It's a perception lad mode of communication rather than a factually lad mode ofcommunication or transmission. Edward O' Bonow: Perception is real, even when it is not reality.
