How Did Wall Street Stop Being Wall Street?

The last big financial player to leave a Wall Street address was Deutsche Bank which left 60 Wall Street in 2019. The location that had been a banking building on that block all the way back to the 1790s. By the early 20th century it was shifting hands quite a lot. In the 1980s it was a car park for a while. AIG and Bank of New York were then thinking about putting a big building in there. JP Morgan took it over in 85 andJP Morgan was in there from 85 until 2000 and 2000s.
