The Global Pandemic

The global pandemic has had a huge impact on the US economy. The World Bank predicts that some regions won't see a recovery until 2025 or beyond. Do people slowly get their jobs back? Or do we witness the slow collapse of a lot of the types of businesses that we're used to seeing around? Does these people kind of stay permanently out of work?
