Dougherty: "Your vacation sometimes can get ruined before you even leave if you don't sort of prep and have a plan like Len talked about so that then you know when you're gone, you can be gone" He says he used to pick a key person on his team who was going to be kind of the point person when he was gone. The other thing I used to do is either pick a great relationship with my leadership or just keep an ear out for the really big stuff that's blowing up.
