Mentoring in the moment is a phrase from Peter Felton and Adam Lambert who got it from Brad Johnson at the US Naval Academy. I've found this really compelling to look for an opportunity every day to just kind of be a mentor in passing. Sometimes when we think mentor, we think Dumbledore and Harry Potter this lifelong relationship but it can be as simple as one time it was the second week of school. He walked past a student with a piece of paper in his hand looking around the building like students usually did the first day of class or the day before the firstday of class. And he said where's the Rick's building? And I took him outside and pointed the way.
