Carrie Vanderbill's Chips
Crisps came from an italian man who moved to Ireland after the potato famine. He started a chip shop in dublin where peer street is now, and soon had 200 shops. By 19 o'clock every day there were 20 or 21 chip shops in Dublin alone. In ireland you can buy fish and chips for up to £20 per serving. A one-off curry sauce called 'teavisy' costs as little as €1 at some restaurants.
