The good news is that you can take the fuel out of these types of emotions and CBT has a really concrete system for teaching you how to do it. So there's five steps. Step number one is identify the belief. Step number two is to challenge the belief. Okay, number three, replace the belief. Number four, practice new behaviors. And then number five is to monitor and celebrate progress, possibly with ice cream.
