Why Isolated Facts Are Not Very Good

I've spoken quite a lot on this podcast now about the importance of knowledge and factual knowledge. Without factual knowledge you don't have high quality thinking but I've also spoken about how you need to connect your facts into larger structures and larger schemas otherwise they're going to be highly forgettable or not very useful. So in that sense also it's information um compression and I also think so another thing that I want to talk about here is I think this is the reason why one perspective on the reason why isolated facts are not very good.
