Can We Learn From China?
I think China's move in this whole social media, gaming and restrictions put in Alibaba has been criticized that a lot of people are very sometimes worried about it. I mean, maybe in fact, putting restrictions on the number of time, putting limits on how AI algorithms are being used might be a good thing to learn from them. We don't know exactly what and how they're impacting our lives. In the West we probably need some of the same medicine but in the West because of the lobbying power of all the tech industry and many other invested interests, the West probably will never have that kind of aggressive regulations or rules rolled up.
