"John is one of those guys. You've never had a bad word to say about anybody and you always have that attitude," he says. "If you want to do this, do it. You can do it because if I don't do it, somebody else is going to do it." He adds: "I lived in a beautiful, big house on the lake and I left and I went to dirty Hollywood and slept in a room with cockroaches and no bathroom".
