Is It Getting Worse at Youth Level?

The level of disrespect towards officials is getting younger and younger. I've noticed 13, 14-year-olds swearing at the referee - that wasn't happening when I first started about 15 years ago. And that is because he's seen a Premier League plan. So unless you cure it at the very top of the game, you're never going to cure it at a grassroots level. Are you seeing refs quitting just because they've had enough? Oh, yes, absolutely. Absolutely right. And I've known referees at a referee for 30 years at grassroots level and said, do you know what? I've done now. I've had enough. It just depends where your level of tolerance
