There was a really interesting reference you made on that note in the book. I think that tie s really nicely into this kind of idea of scapegoating, which you talk about in the book quite extensively. How do we think about breaking out of these cycles? It's just like a perennial feature m going all the way back to the nowthat the ritual is in the temple in jerusalem,. where they would literally symbolically transfer the sins of the people on to a goat and then expel the goat out into the desert to die.
