A Roman Conquered by a Roman
Mark Antony dies at the age of 53. He asks for wine, which something may have hastened his death. His last words are that he asks Cleopatra not to weep for him since he had not been dishonorably vanquished. It is a very Roman idea that he hasn't been conquered by some barbarian enemy. But it's somebody who was equal of him.
