Finding Power as We Rise in the Structure
I know so many women of color I interviewed who won't talk about what they do on the weekends or won't share that they speak another language. We need to shed things that don't work for us, but we also need to remember that we actually get our power from who we are in our lineage and where we come from in our histories. My work is Women of Color, but work isn't working for anybody. And I think if there was ever a time to change it, not just for Women ofcolor, but for everybody it's now.
