St Peter lombard was a theologian who lived in the twelfth century. He wrote what was basically a text book of theology, a called a sentences. And his commentary on peter lombard sentences is thought to have been written about 12 52 or 12 56. In it he argues that there are some beings whose essence doesn't include their existence. The argument comes from an aspect of the world ultimately to god.
