Jamie McAllen: How do you think the experience of this pandemic and the struggles of workers during it might be able to lead to something different? It's notable that following the Spanish influenza in the 1920s, many countries in Western Europe adopted universal health care. He says if we're going to get something as good as the pro act, we'll have to create a crisis large enough to force the state to give us some sort of concession. "I do look at this and see some degree of optimism out there"
