In 1995, after the IMF had given billions of dollars to Mabuto and Mabuto was finally overthrown, one Zaire was worth one billionth of a dollar. So you can think of that like the productive capacity of the nation squeezed out over time. And there's so many interesting things that we need to learn about from poor countries that will happen to us.
