What Are the Magi Doing in This Story?
In matthew two, one through 12, and we're on the theme of the scripture citations. So in this context, herod and asks his scribes where is the messiah going to be born? And they go consult the scriptures, and they say, in beth Bethlehem of judea. For it has been written by the prophet, this is micah. We will be looking at micah in a moment. But i wanted to begin with this theme of the star. Mri and elisa, you kind of alluded to that the magi are following cosmic signs, following stars.
