The Opposite of Globalization
I like the idea of local communities. It's not going into the school district and saying, I have some great ideas for how to fix your school system because that's pointless. Instead you're then creating a parallel institution that puts pressure on or at least shows people a different way of doing it. And then siphons off energy or siphons off people to your better built, I don't know, mouse trap, so to speak. But there's a lot of energy tied up in that. That which we resist persists. So I believe a more effective path, a more spiritual path really, is to build the world that we want to see.
