He calls our dirty little secrets number one the numbers gap which is the relative lack of young scientists and engineers in America compared to China and India. Number two is the education gap meaning that American schools don't push or invest in math and science education enough. And three is the ambition gap meaning that our youth are less ambitious than youth in China and India, he says.
