The Evolution of the Hat Man

Many believe the hat man to be some ancient spiritual entity that's been depicted in lore from almost every culture as far back as one pleases. According to Welsh legend, a man we colloquially refer to as the Grim Reaper was actually named Anku. He appears as a man or skeleton wearing a black robe and large hat that always conceals his face. The medieval thought he was some cursed first child of Adam and Eve.
