Homa Erectus - The Evolution of Homo Sapiens
We do not see much in the way of technological advancement when it comes to the actual tools themselves. Homa erectus was living a relatively comfortable life style, and this enabled it to spread out and colonize areas away from the hominin heartland of africa. As the range of a species expands, we find that those on the fringes of the range encounter different circumstances and pressures. And this, in turn, can lead to the beginnings of speciation. Some hominins may find that the area in which they live in is a superb place for hunting marine life such as fish, crustaceans and shellfish. These peoples would develop tools that are specialists for fish hunting
