Attorney General Garland - Is He in Charge of His Own Office?

Merritt Garland does not project the image of a man who's in charge of his own office. He looks like a weak personality, and it also looks as though he has actually been able, utterly unable to gain any trust or any influence on a part of the people on the Republican side of the spectrum. The only people who write nice things about Garland are in fact the natural democratic ally. You don't see anybody from the Republican side praising him as having done his job in a particular way.
