A Boy With a Bindy in India

In indian culture, is there any flexibility on who gets to wear bindy? I have found that there is a room for gender creativity. So like, me wearing a bindi in india would be like nothing, but here it was definitely a thing. And i think that one of the things about, quote and quote, diverse books is, you know, this book isn't specifically so that kids who want to wear bindies can see themselves reflected. It's also just like a way to create room for people to celebrate difference across the board.
