The Second Carnal Virtue Is Courage

Hope is always directed towards some good you want to achieve something. Courage is this deeply settled disposition to do what's right in the face of what is fearful. Temperance or moderation, in conjunction witht prudence, enables you to be rightly disposed towards those goods. To be without any kind of desire for goods of the table, or other sensual goods, would be a bore.
