In verse six, the holy spirit forbids them to go into bathynia. This is a very important indication of just how high luke's christology is. In luke's understanding of jesus, jesus is so identified with god that god's holy spirit is understood as the spirit of JESUS. After this succession of stacles or negative guidance, the missionaries go down to troas. Troas was in the region of the famous city of troy, about 25 miles away.
