The Trinity, the Trinitarian Doctrine

The filioque is one of the most difficult doctrines you can study. Augustine set the pattern peradigmatically for western theology, especially on the trinity. The orthodox are going to have to look back and figure out how half the trunk of the tree was corrupt in the first thousand years with the same corruption that they gave as a reason to separate from the catholic west.
