Students from Sunnyvale, California participated in a two day school sponsored art project called weaving the world together. Students were able to make their own amulets and they were supposed to ward off evil spirits. Robert Mueller was an educator responsible for crafting the world core curriculum which many of the standards that he wrote up were adopted into President Bush's education reform plan America 2000.
