I was like, that's the coolest thing I've ever seen in sports, man. It didn't, again, it's easy to look back at now that it happened. But you know, six holes to go. This was far from a lock to happen. Phil probably should have won the US Open at Shinnecock way back when it was there. They've expanded everywhere else on the course. Golden Bell stayed essentially 150 yards for 60 years. And it still terrifies them because short and long is tough.
