The average life span of a car, meaning the average amount of time some one keeps the car they just bought for a new car, is longer than ever. The rate at which second hand vehicles increased double compared to new cars. So that's the thing we're seeing, all these new cars that are having longer and longer lives. But basically, if you keep selling your gas car right up until 20 30, 20 35, they might keep that new gas car for eight, nine years unti sye.
