We all need human givens. We all need to belong to a nurturing group that we can contribute to too. Cults will use threats and intimidation to stop you leaving. One cult would not give me a refund when I saw what they were. In Las Vegas, the bag man of Edward the confessor rumstshakes his hand in some kind of secret ritual. There are no secret rituals that we do - it's just tongue in cheek.
