The Foundation of Self Compassion
Mindfulness, especially context of self compassion, really just means that we are present and aware of whatever painful feelings ere having. So mindfulness is really a kind of the foundation of self compassion. And then there's that warm support of response. But really important, because we don't want self compassion to be self pity. Self pity is not helpful to any one. I mean, people with privilege suffer less thand people who are press so there are differences that need to be honored. You know, we all struggle. All human beings make mistakes. I'm not alone.
