The January 6 Committee's Report Spurred the Department of Justice Into Action

Much of what's in this indictment, we knew already from the January 6 committee. Now Jack Smith and his prosecutors, they got more than what the January6 committee did. I do think that a lot more was happening quietly at DOJ than is acknowledged. The fact that so much of this indictment is not a surprise is a credit to the January 6 Committee for forcing so much ofthis out into the public domain.
