How I Got Started in Art

As a little kid I loved art. To the point that I decided that's what I wanted to do professionally. So every time I sat down to make a painting, it was like reinventing the wheel. When I left college, I started teaching art in the public schools. And at that,. I was asked to do a lot of commercial art. Because it was all volunteer on my part. so they basically had to take what I gave them. The lessons I learned are the lessons that I still use every time I sit down to paint.
