Xenophon's Attic Writings
Xenophon's works show him to be a writer of great originality. Scholars generally believe that 14 were indeed written by him, while only one is doubted. Xenophon proposes measures so that Athens could support itself without relying on the prophets of war and empire. Although his works cover many different genres, his style is generally consistent.
