Episode 4: Overshoot & Limits to Growth
Breaking Down: Collapse
00:00
What if We Had Double the Resources?
CNN's John Sutter looks at a computer model of what would cause the world to collapse. It was based on data that was already available regarding historic patterns of growth and expected growth in the future. In this scenario, pollution became such a problem so fast that it directly caused the collapse. The increasing population needing ever more food was also met with a declining amount of arable land available. We'll discuss climate change and by diversity loss more in upcoming episodes.
