Resilient Transformations and Abstract Catalysts
For any transformation that occurs in physical reality one can unambiguously identify a catalyst that is capable of realizing it and of retaining the ability to cause it again. abstract catalysts are only systems necessary to the transformation which also stay the same before and after the transformation. Only some pieces of what biologists would call adaptations and adaptation code for something so an adaptation must increase the probability that the genes that code for it will be passed on to the next generation. Not all adaptations are resilient but they need to be useful in order to preserve their genetic make-up over time.
