The Importance of Freedom
"I plump for freedom because imagine a book written in the optimistic spirit of 2004, 2005 about Europe with new disasters now unfolding every day," he says. "The greatest moments were when Europe and freedom marched together, as they did in 1989." He adds that we live in what I call a world of neighbors: everybody is becoming neighbors with everybody else.
