Golf's new owners, the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF), have paid for 20% of the sport. The PIF has already taken maybe $2 billion of its money and could be in a position to increase that amount with an increased stake. David Cameron says golf is being used as 'sport washing' after World Cup success. But he adds: 'What we don't want is a political dilemma... We're going to a football game'
