The Importance of Fiber in Dietary Patterns

Dietary fiber is the basis for healthy dietary patterns on a general level when we would be recommending this to the population. We can't say for sure, right? I mean, if we know fiber exposure decreases cardiovascular risk. So, and at this level, so we would probably want to get our fiber intake up to that level. But if someone were to say, hey, I've been taking fiber, and I've had this question. It's like, okay, yeah, fiber is just one part of constipation schedules and other things actually are important. And it's not going to protect you from not getting a disease you yourself.
