The Importance of a Sabbath

According to the Hebrew calendar, it is one day out of seven. On a Sabbath on Saturday, everything's closed and things just slow down. In secular American society, there's very few days that are kind of holy or special or sacred. Even those days have become quite profane. Maybe Memorial Day maintains a certain holiness.
