How to Use Hornet VU Meter to Control Your EQ Levels

I've tried to stick with it and just kind of go, why does he do it like this? Yeah. And then all of a sudden all of those plugins sort of magically align. If everything's too loud, it gets mushy. I actually used this plugin called Hornet VU meter. It just automatically tells you where like the VU level is to keep you around zero. But I just have the wave level at the right volume.
