From the beginning Fox News of course was a very different kind of network than CNN. It wasn't necessarily like CNN trying to communicate a sense of gravitas and seriousness so much as one of feistiness and excitement you know. I think that sort of aesthetic as much as its politics or the politics of its hosts was one big thing that attracted its viewership to it.
