The Risen Lazarus in the Gospel of John
John focuses in a particular way on what we would call a sort of high Christology. John desires to lead us to know Christ, particularly in his divinity as Christ and the second person of the Trinity. The raising of Lazarus is pointing towards one of these last signs of the seven signs that points towards the culmination of who Christ is and how we come to know him.
